Hi folks.

We are looking at getting into a porsche and have seen a nice spec white 991.2 C4 gts. The only issue is that it has gold turbo s wheels.
Now I quite like the colour combo but my wife isn't so sure. rage

Will this have a big impact on resale in the future?
This car has everything that my wife is after but the wheels are the sticking point. Can anyone see any issue with the spec of the car?

She's discounted a lovely black car that we viewed the other day because it didn't have the buttons on the wheel and only had the stalks.
This will be her daily driver so she wants some comforts.

We've had a 992 for the past few days on loan (it only had 70miles on the clock!) So she keeps going back to that car, but it would be too much cash at the moment. We also had a brand new turbo macan but it didn't hit the right spots for her, it felt too civilised coming from 2 F80 M3s.

So please advise as this will be our first Porsche.

GTS is a great car and a brilliant daily driver to boot. The wheels colour is easily changed - maybe ask the dealer to do it as part of the deal? PS from what I can see these are the GTS wheels so all standard

I like gold wheels, but we're all different of course.

Thanks 2010spy, now that's good thinking! Maybe we could get them painted as part of the deal.(the advert says turbo s wheels?, will have to double check) We are finding the whole Porsche thing pretty confusing. So many differences and different options!

Change the colour of the wheels to her choice as part of the deal, job done and SIMPLES.

Changing wheel colour is not a big deal and easily reversed subsequent owners.
No effect on value bar say the £400 it costs to change the colour of the wheels.

Sorry, I think the GTS did use the Turbo S wheels as standard. Standard colour for wheels should be Matt black as well. I wasn’t a fan of black wheels but they rally suit the GTS. Good luck I love mine.
