Sports chrono on a manual 991.2
Discussion
It’s one of those. Porsche need to keep layering on the technology to keep ahead of the competition and to justify a new generation of 911 every 4 years.
On the other hand, there’s more to go wrong and you move further away from the pure (relatively) driving experience.
I think even Porsche have realised that you don’t get value with sports chrono on a manual car and so they’ve bundled it in with the manual gearbox option on the 992. Also, it partly mitigates the fact that there’s no longer a saving when specing a manual. I wonder if that means that you can’t now turn off the Rev matching when in sport mode?
