Just found I am locked out of my 992S because the battery is flat and central locking is obviously inoperative . The car has been unused for 10 days, but this really should not happen and did not on the previous 991.
The next move was to try and manually unlock the car and follow the procedure for jump lead start (remembering the lithium battery)
before returning to OPC for investigation. Problem is the impossibility of getting the key to turn in the door handle entry point as described in good to go Porsche app. Has anyone actually opened the drivers door manually? Well I will be intrigued to see how Porsche assistance manage when they turn up . I now realise that once (if) the door is opened it cannot be closed until power is
restored since it won't drop to allow closure.

I’ve found if you put the blade in with the curved surface downwards it goes in further and you should be able to turn it anti clock to unlock

Thanks for your reply
I also found the key goes as far as the hilt of the
key but the resistance to turn it anti clockwise
is greater than I can manage and starts bending the plastic
end.
