Hi all,

Is there a rear half cage that could be fitted to a 997.1 comfort ?

I have seen a lot of 996 cars with techquipment stainless cages, but I haven’t seen a 997 with this.

I would be looking to fit a harness for the odd track day.
Thanks

Yep. I fitted an Agency Power cage (this one: https://www.porscheshop.co.uk/agency-power-roll-ca... years ago, details in my 911uk thread somewhere. I notice now they do these in different colours too which is nice, I'm sure that option didn't exist when I ordered mine, probably would've gone with red to match my Recaro inserts

The cage is a bit of a pain to fit, one of the most difficult things I've ever done in my life lol took around 8 or 9 hours. I think Cunno has one of these too

You'll need to take out your seats to get it in, and cut the rear carpet to locate the mounting points. (Make sure to do that carefully so you can just fold the carpet and glue back in should you ever decide to remove the cage if / when you sell). Careful you don't put the cage through your windscreen as someone did, I think that was over on Renn List ... Would be good if you can find someone to give you a hand

It's a good cage, you'll feel the slight shift in balance once fitted (these things are heavy buggers), but you'll also notice the chassis stiffen up a bit too which is nice

Good luck
