That advert really makes for quite sad reading - I thought those times were coming to an end again
Agree about a lot of the wording, tragic.Didn’t sell the car to JZM, it was to another dealer, but I guess someone thinks they can talk up the value.
I would say that it was a lot of fun as a track day toy for the 15 years I owned it.

I saw the red one too. Very surprised it didn't sell looked amazing too. OP hope you got close to the asking price!
Haha not even close to the asking price, but it was over 50% more than I had bought it for back in 2005. I was okay to move it on after 15 years as a track day toy.B19TOY said:

And the red and yellow make both those 996 GT2s. I completely disagree with the values dealers are trying to achieve at the mo on them. I understand the low numbers and last of no no tc etc. Small point they are pretty difficult to drive well for the average driver - glad you had lots of fun especially on track thats what its all about

Very much agree - woeful ad.
The advert is basically a 'plethora' of posh words, that someone who was heducated might use, presumably to invoke avarice. However the typist who jammed them together forgot the punctuation. What car? I only saw an investment opportunity.

I really liked my red 997 GT2 CS (paid 96k euros for it from memory). Unfortunately I did not realize you actually need to know how to drive, so turned it into a heap of scrap 4 months after taking delivery.
I always preferred the look of the 996 - still really want one and saw one on slicks from time to time on track - pretty cool and fast.
