I suggest you post the question on 911uk....there's plenty on that forum I'd expect with Topgear exhausts & they periodically organise a group-buy as well.

Yep & there's some really knowledgeable members/contributers as well as specialists who provide input.

As per above, 911uk had a group buy discount last year, plenty got on it, you might get a some what skewed opinion though!

Which part of the exhaust system are you considering replacing? Reasons of sound? Weight save? Performance? Or the usual split silencers?

In my opinion TG offer two choices;
Quiet - or what should probably be known as too quiet
Or
Loud - or what should probably be known as too loud

I believe they do an adjustable kit for a few quid so you can select between, well, too quiet or too loud!
Plenty have the ‘loud’ kit fit and subsequently removed due to drone...

I have one silencer box damaged, plus the car is 13+ years old so presumably the exhaust will be coming to the end of its life expectancy smile so I am looking at options. The only thing I’m concerned about is removing manifolds... nuts snapping off etc. scratchchin

I bought a set of 996 manifolds from them. Very good quality indeed. They are attached to standard cats and Cargraphic ‘sound’ back boxes. Perfect for me, nice rumble at idle, no drone, civilised around town, but a decent howl above 4k rpm with full throttle.

I think the topgear full systems are not quite there. I heard one on a 997 with 200celll cats and to my ear it sounded horrid, far too ‘tinny”. Perhaps that was more because of the cats than the back boxes?

I had one on my r8, no complaint at all. Perfect volume and tone.

I had a cross pipe on my 997.2 and quality of finish and sound was top notch.

I have their 'mild' silencers on mine- quality is superb, noise is great without being overwhelming. I'd buy again.
