992 Targa Spec
Discussion
I tried to search but could not find anything related.
I have to submit my build spec for a 992 Targa 4 I am about to order by end of play tomorrow.
A couple of things I have noticed that are different to previous 911's I have ordered.
I cannot seem to be able to spec PDCC and/or rear axle steering? Are these no longer available for the base 992 Targa? I see they are available for the 'S'.
I understand PDCC is vital for Targa's.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I would not say PDCC is a must have option, I never had it on both my 991.2 Targas. But having driven a car at PEC with it on I will be going for it along with RWS and -10mm on the 992 Targa 4 GTS when its out. Expensive option but it does improve the way the car drives.
expensive option sure but lets not forget these are expensive cars now, the 4s targa i was considering ordering was £130k which in the end I felt was way too expensive.WCZ said:

My last 991.2 Targa 4 GTS was over £137k OTR back in Nov 17, this was when PTS was 3.7k though. I am expecting the new 992 GTS one with a good spec including PDDC, RWS, but not PTS to be around 150k. Thanks all for feedback re PDCC and RWS - pity it is not available for base 992 Targa ( I thought Porsche would want to take my money!)
My spec so far: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNFZW9N9 yes it is a bit 'lumpy' with options but I intend to keep the car for a while!
Can't help but notice that the 'Carbon Interior' has now got a gloss finish to it now on the configurator - I always though it was a matte finish on the 992?

I am toying with ordering one for August delivery, i saw one up close and personal at my OPC and must say what a car it was!
By far the best looking 992 in fact it looks like the 992 was made for the Targa
Is August possible? I just put a deposit down and they are saying early next year!By far the best looking 992 in fact it looks like the 992 was made for the Targa

That is definitely a big spec! Has anyone tried the remote parking thing? Sounds like a fun (but expensive) indulgence! My spec so far: http://www.porsche-code.com/PNFZW9N9 yes it is a bit 'lumpy' with options but I intend to keep the car for a while!
