In my RS WP including two trackdays at Donington and Anglesey. I wonder how much this has negatively affected its value.biggrin Great to spend some real quality time with Digga, Yellow491, Hunter66, TDT, Chris W and many others i could mention.
Does life get any better post Covid i wonder.?

It may negatively affect the cars value...

But more importantly it positively affects your value.

More people should remember this little fact!

Well done. :-)

I think there might be some reason prevailing and even second hand buyers will value some quality mileage on cars and nice fluids keeping our cars healthy. Low mileage might not rule anymore! I love to see the blue titanium exhaust from my GT2 RS which also means it has way more than delivery mileage and probably earned me years of extra life expectancy for each drive I have had with her! Enjoy in health.

Nicely planted on the open road as well.

It's amazing how fast 50-60mph looks from inside a low slung sports car on a dual carriageway.... hopefully the number plate is not readable by plod.

Its not a duel carriageway , its a 9 mile stretch on Isle of Man that gets made one way to traffic for 2 weeks every TT week. There is no national speed limit like in the UK to worry about once you leave the end of limit signs.Max speed in the vid would be around the 125-30 mark.

Took me a while to get round to posting some pics - enjoyed the PCGB Anglesey day last Saturday, they split us into 3 groups (with mingling in theory prohibited) so I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet you Taffy, Digga & Co but enjoyed talking to some really good people. Brilliant track with plenty of room in a really scenic setting - plus no noise limits! thumbup

I see you were in the same group as Chris(Yellow GT4) and Mike(GT Silver RS WP) so you were in good company. After and extremely wet start it dried up quickly by lunch and by early afternoon the track was bone dry and sunny making it fast. Loved the corkscrew after lunch which gave it an added dimension. As you say its a fantastic track.
Nice to see four Porsche RS WP(including mine) on track all in different colours.

Was it you in that stunning Dark Grey 997.2GT3 RS. If so we thought it was very well driven even in the wet and probably sounded the best of all cars there.

As Taff says, two really great track days. Very different weather and, I think it fair to say, types of driver too. Neither better than the other - it's as much fun to be passed by racing cars on slick tyres (especially beautiful, noisy BMW CLS Batmobiles and 996 GT2 race cars) as it is to mix with track day novices and those whose are less familiar with being on track.

Fl0pp3r - you win. Seriously, that's the best car, no discussion. Next best at Anglesey IMHO was the gorgeous 996 GT2, drving by a Scottish bloke whose name escapes me. I have seen him with the car at Outlon RS days before and the pace of the thing in the wet is impressive. Both these cars feature in some iPhone video clips at the end of my (st) video of the day.

That’s very generous of you chaps thank you, it was indeed me in grey/gold. Just the 700 mile round trip for me, but great to finally get back out on the road. I knew to get out of Chris’s way right off the bat biggrin and then I just tried to keep it smooth and on the tarmac - I swear if there weren’t armco you might end up in the sea at that place! Had a good few laps mixing it with a very well peddled CaymanR (I know must try harder), and I won’t deny looking somewhat enviously at the 991’s getting through the corners so quickly, but this 997 just relays so much to you through the steering wheel it’s really amazing. That was Matt (flying Scotsman) in the 996 GT2 with no ABS - at least that was his excuse for the lurid sideways action out of every corner - respect.

Chinwag for sure on the next one lads thumbup

Yes Cup 2’s. PS4’s would have been the choice at Anglesey though.

The chap in the 996 C4S I was following for one of the sessions was also on Cup 2’s, believe it or not. Was going really well and was fun to tag along with.

Later in the afternoon at Donington I had a great run with TDT where we ran as a train, swapping lead a few times, but sadly the camera had run out.
