What are the correct door mirrors on a 991.1 turbo S?

I am looking to buy a 2015 991.1 turbo S and have a found a car I like. However, I thought they came with the GT3 style door mirror with a cutout, but the car I have viewed today doesn't have the cutout.

I have a brochure that says the 'S' has "Sport Design exterior mirrors with a V-shaped base".

Looking on PH and Auto Trader it seems that some turbo S's have the cut out GT3 mirror and some don't.

Was it an option or should I be suspicious?

You will probably find that it has electrically folding mirrors, which don’t come in the SportDesign style.

Mine is admittedly a 991.2 Turbo S but no cutout/V mirrors. How would they fold up? Which was (I believe) a standard feature on ‘S’?

Its an option you can go with lecy folding mirrors or sport design mirror which do not fold.
