I would prefer a 996 with some driving mods (Eg suspension, seats)
also I would prefer not having a screen in it - I love the 996 interior as is with just a radio and a centre console delete - much nicer than the interiors that followed imo
the other question I'd have is if it was crashed and then the "facelift" was done.
it is not terrible though and plenty of older 911s have been forward or backdated in the past - 3.2 to 964, f model to 993 etc etc - nowadays people just tend to go in the other direction - both not entirely to my taste, but we are all different

It's likely to be a fibreglass bodykit on it. Not my thing but I can see why others may like the look of it.
A quick check shows it has only done 800 miles in the last 3 years. I would look into the recent history. It's not cheap so I would expect it to be in good overall condition.

If the car has done such few miles in the last 5 years, it should still have had a major service _ replacement auxiliary belt and brake fluid change. IMO it’s worth less than a standard car of the same age/miles as it isn’t as sought after as its not remotely close to original & will be a challenge to sell on in the future. I’d be doing a full HPI check before viewing to save any wasted time to see what’s happened in the past? I’d also be pulling the door seals and front boot seal rubbers off to see what colour is underneath? I.e. has it had a colour change & if so, how well have they done it?! I’d also ask if there are any pictures of the facelift work in progress?

I was going to say check the frunk floor and inner flitches for previous accident damage, but actually, just get someone well versed in Porsche to inspect it for you and pay them the going rate, it'll be money well spent.

Crikey - I used to use PCT for my 996 and 997. I had no idea this place existed and I'm minutes away from it !I'd want to know who did the conversion, and why...

Another thought from me: Given that the standard pop-up spoiler has been replaced with the 996 Turbo Aerokit style fixed spoiler, check that the spoiler warning light does not illuminate on the dash. It should have been disabled
From the pictures it looks like the work done could be reasonable but my concern is the mish-mash of styles: 997 GT3-style front PU, 997 GT3-style rear PU, 996 Turbo Aerokit style fixed spoiler etc. There's no accounting for taste but for me this car is neither fish nor fowl. It's an odd mix of 996 and 997 looks.

That thing is horrendous. I could see why it would appeal to posers if it looked like a more expensive car, but it doesn’t. You can pick a 997 up for £20k now. Just buy a 997, sort the suspension and stick on what wheels you like and you’ll have a far nicer car and a much bigger pool of buyers should you ever want out of it.
I’m actually amazed it isn’t wearing a Turbo, GT2 or other badge that it looks nothing like, as most of these mock ups do.
So kudos to the builder for that at least, or were they just too tight to buy a badge?
Anyway the short version is, that’s awful and be sure to take a Staffie or Pitbull along for the test drive to complete the look. (Wife-beater vest is optional for bonus points).

To most folks on the street, this car is a relatively modern and expensive Porsche. The car may help the owner bed a few girls.
It may also have some panel gap issues, may be accident damaged, may have IMS and bore scoring issues, and may cost a small fortune to keep on the road.
That said. The wheels do look like they're drowning in those arches...

For the money, and to the untrained eye (myself included), what's not to like?
