I like this 997 - an I mad to be considering it?

Any red flags on the following vehicle? I see it's been modified - would that be a turn-off for people here?
Better yet, is the owner on here? Seems a pretty identifiable car

Nice mods, not sure why you would struggle to sell, it's hardly been butchered. Wrap can be pulled off if desired but I think it's a nice touch in nardo. Better yet, is the owner on here? Seems a pretty identifiable car

Soon as I saw the faux privacy glass you lost me. I can’t find one redeemable thing about it. What is that wrap hiding? You’ll never know, until you know, and by then you could be stuck with a lemon. Which I’d argue it already is. Better yet, is the owner on here? Seems a pretty identifiable car

For a modified car…looks pretty well done to me..someone’s spent some money on that.
You won’t know until you get an inspection done, which I’d recommend for sure. If you like it, arrange a specialist to have a proper poke around and then decide.
For similar money…this also looks nice

At £29K I suspect you could go to £30K without losing too much sleep, and I reckon if you offered £30K on this you'd get it.

to me that is the best one for sale at that 30K mark.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
The reason the original one jumped out at me was because it was very close to what I had in mind in terms of modifications myself, particularly externally - more aggressive front lip (and bumper?) and ducktail spoiler. Not a HUGE fan of Nardo and black wheels, but that can be easily changed.
How would I go about arranging an inspection?
The other cars do look nice as well. Seems there are a few about that would make for decent buys

I think it looks good. Sort of RPM technic CSR build.
However, I think with a wrapped car you need to be prepared to potentially pay for a complete respray or rewrap when the current wrap comes off. And it will start to come off as all wraps have a relatively short life expectancy.
I wouldn't worry too much about the wrap hiding previous body damage as a proper inspection will reveal any major work and any rust issues generally relate to the underbody. First port of call regarding a pre purchase inspection is to call the seller and ask if they are happy for one to be done. Then ask in here for recommendations for a garage or mobile guy in that area. It's a bit of admin work but you'd be mad not to get an independent PPI done on one of these cars.

Working in the trade where we come across many a wrapped car - from relatively cheap Mercedes to the likes of Rolls Royce Phantoms, they always cost money. Up close, finish is poor, peeling somewhere guaranteed. Frequently paint damage with cut marks, or simply an issue is being hidden. What happens if you have a knock and need to replace the wrap? You can't blend it...
Again, working in the trade, I would pay less than this for a standard car. So I would pay less as a retail customer too.
The ducktail is clearly a cheap bit of fibreglass so I would want to check fitment. Engine mods are irrelevant - what about the usual 997.1 engine issues?
