Been chatting to a couple of local OPCs about a 992 GT3 and there seem to be mixed messages. Just wondered what others were hearing, many cars expected in 2022 and Will they keep building into 2023 that kind of thing? I do have buying history etc, so it’s not a “walk in” thing!

Curious to hear what the OPCs are telling you?

Given that they've produced hardly any to date, they must hoping to chuck out a fair few in 2022 and 2023?

Every newer model increases in production numbers so they've got some catching up to do...

Well, best case, a sizeable refundable deposit gets you on the list, when cars come available it’s a matrix as to who on said list gets allocation, usual criteria, buying history, taking finance, have a GT car to trade in etc etc. Hence my question re possible build numbers etc….

I've been ready that production numbers and slots are due to open up quite at bit and that OPCs already know numbers for 1st half of next year.
Still no walk-in off the street - but certainly that if you have your name on a list you stand a good chance of being serviced in 2022 or 2023 - and that for the UK we might be getting more due to reallocation from other markets.

Its tricky one... maybe Porsche and OPCs are getting deeper and deeper into financial services and want to collect as many deposits as possible to build a bit of a cash pot as interest rates rise!!! - haha.... may be it cheaper/profitable for them to do that than to actually just build and deliver more cars...haha.

Process is annoying really.

This is my understating also with a 50/50 Split. I dont think all the build dates are known yet but better visibility on the larger amounts, this has to be great news for owners the 992GT3 is a great car demand is certainly there.

You mean 50 percent 2022 and 50 percent 2023?
