991.1 Turbo S Cab

Became the proud owner of this today, or rather I pick it up on Monday. 2015 17k miles, loads of spec - I went in to look at a 992 C4 Cab but this was similar price albeit a few years older but my God I've never driven anything so brutal.



Couple of questions for anyone that knows;

- Are there any modules you can buy to add Apple Car Play? I use it in everything else and like the familiarity.
- Exhaust could be a bit louder, who are the go to people who can make it so?
- Anything else I need to know?

Its much louder. Maybe it doesn't come through on video? Suffice to say no remap required and it doesn't throw up cels. 30k miles on ours.

There was no fuss made by OPC Hatfield on a warranty turbo swap too. They asked about the exhaust but weren't bothered said it sounded nicer and looked oem. It is a bit loud I'm conscious it wakes the whole neighbourhood up both leaving and coming home. You can hear it from miles away

Big money I think. I solved the problem by going back to NA with PSE.

Kline is excellent too. Sounds a bit better in my view than EP2 but doesn't flow quite as well as the 50 cel cats in EP2. Based in Knightsbridge / Chelsea if you ever want to have a listen in person.

Europipe closest to an OEM experience in terms of fitment and plug and play as no need to remap. With the Kline exhaust you'd need to remap to avoid cel lights. The Kline does sound a little more exotic but its not quite near the quality of the Europipe. Quicksilver, Speedtech and Akrapovic do super exhausts too. All are an improvement on stock exhaust

100% - my neighbours were over the moon when I got the Taycan, the valve should keep them happy.
