Anyone familiar with or have any particularly strong views on the 997 GTS Cab at OPC Bournemouth ?

It’s a little leggy, but I’m not looking for a garage queen 😀

I have a view, its hardly leggy my 2012 C4GTS Cab has a virtually identical mileage reading.

Reasons I wouldn't buy this one though are

1. It's fridge white
2. The white painted seats look awful, massively cheapen the look.
3. Its missing the signature half alcantara interior, thats essential on a GTS
4. Couldn't see any mention of PSE

You'll find a nicer car away from the OPC network at 60k budget ...

Agree on the seat backs....looks like something by Clive Sinclair. Might look good parked up in downtown Miami but its horrific and cheap looking.

The aforementioned GTS interior can be seen in this one...

and closer to the price of the Bournmouth one, this grey one has better spec (PSE) and nearly half the mileage for a few £K more.

....prefer the coupe though to the cab. Looks a bit lumpy in my opinion.

Thanks for your replies chaps, I appreciate your thoughts.

One quick question on the interior if I may - I’ve looked at photos of some, and the alcantara interior seems to have gone flat and “shiny” - what are your experiences of how well that interior ages ?

How Alcantara wears really depends on how the owner has maintained and treated it. On my previous car, I had quite a bit of Alcantara and I used to regularly use some Alcantara cleaner/protection spray and wipe down with a cloth. I'd then follow that up by using a brush to lift up the fibres keeping it looking new and fresh. After 3 years with the car, it still looked fresh and new. smile

Personally have not experienced it, but my understanding is that Alcantara like this can be renovated with a good clean.

I was thinking - briefly - about a GT3 RS style steering wheel in my 996 and the general advice was to keep it clean. Otherwise it can be cleaned.

A 997 GTS has PSE as standard.
I have a 997GTS in fridge white.
I have a 992 GTS WITHOUT the alcantara interior.
Ordered both new - Each to their own.

My 997 GTS manual is at 28k miles and alcantara not showing any major wear at this point (I’ve had it 8 years)

I have a triple black 997 GTS PDK CAB - great car and all the better for being a road car and not compromised for track use imho. Mine doesn’t have alcantara either, full extended leather which I prefer but agree each to their own. Mines on just shy of 70k miles and is in great condition, if they’ve been looked after they should be fine being gen2?
