992 flat battery

Sorry if posted elsewhere. Tried to start my 992 this evening and battery completely dead. I need to investigate why but right now i’m stuck at not being able to get to it.

I’ve tried to jump the fuse to give enough power to pop the bonnet but that doesn’t seem to work. I’m trying to jump direct from another car (not sure if that makes a difference vs. jumping from another battery direct…can’t see why)

Is there another manual way to pop the bonnet?

Unfortunately I can’t use Porsche Assistance as I let the warranty lapse as my new GTS arrives next week. Will ask my OPC for help but if anyone has any suggestions i’m all ears

if its the same as 9X1 try using the fob rather than the in car frunk opener

As above, once the leads are connected hold the bonnet release button on the key for 2 seconds.

Ok thanks guys. Did think I tried that but will give it another shot as I might have been too quick with the fob
