991.2 unlock both doors

Hello! How can I get both doors to unlock from the key fob? I’m always having to walk round to the passenger side to open the door by touching the handle. Any help would be appreciated as it’s getting annoying!

there is a setting in the PCM where you can choose to have either both doors or just the driver door unlock....and ditto for what locks after you have closed the doors.

I’m no expert and not sure why, but if I’m on my own and only need my door opened, I press the fob/remote once. If with I need both doors open, I double press fob.

Try it as I’ve no idea if it works

Ah very good. Well, between that and/or the PCM options then that should solve it.

Been at work all day so not had the chance to look yet. From the answers above I suspect I’ll need to dive into the PCM as a double press on the fob doesn’t seem to do it.

Fingers crossed its an easy fix - sorry about the fob; I may be getting confused between our 911 and the FFRR - I am sure one of them is a partial unlock on one press and full unlock on double - or may be on closing

One hit of the unlock button unlocks the drivers door. A second hit of the unlock button on the fob opens the passenger door.

As my wife keeps reminding me as I get in and she’s left by the locked door (or vice versa!). It’s a strange oddity of the 991.2

Mine doesn’t do that, so must be a menu somewhere to change it.
I’d guess settings selected by using RH steering wheel knob / button / twirly thingy.
Is that vague enough to be helpful & unhelpful all at the same time?

Thanks for all your input. The option to unlock both doors is in the PCM, under vehicle settings>locking.

My passengers will be pleased

This is also the setting in the PCM and can easily be changed.
