I know everything is crazy money at the moment, but why does this Gt3 rs have such a high guide price? Am i missing something?

Does seem a touch rich but as the old adage goes ‘go try buy another…’
What a car.

To some it's the holy grail (or as close to).

Lotto win would see one in the garage for me over anything else with a Porsche badge.

I agree. But circa 100k more than ones that can be bought in the classifieds? Ok, it’s an unusual colour but that doesn't warrant such a premium does it?

Madness. Flat black does nothing for it. Horrible colour on a RS, probably swirl city on closer inspection.

I suspect they have looked at the prices of 997 GT3 4.0's as benchmarks (which appear within same search criteria) and not realised the error/difference with a 3.8 commands a good £100K+ less.

That said, the PTS black is very a special order and the combo with the red looks amazing. It might be the only black one in existence. Its certainly the best looking one I have ever seen in my opinion.

Just found this one that sold recently. It’s in US so may not have any baring on euro cars, but…

I'd happily sell my white 3.8 for a lot less than the estimate, then I would add some cash and buy a 4.0 for not much more

Difficult to put a value on these cars at the moment. We are surely reaching the end of a bull market but if you have the money this is probably where you want to put it in terms of securing a future collectibles and a truly drivers car.
