991 Condensation
Discussion
Hi All,
I bought a 2012 Carerra 991 a little while ago, and have noticed that when the temp drops at night I see condensation on the inside of the windows. It clears up in the morning. I've tried adjusting vents, driving with open windows, to no avail. No smell of damp or seen moisture on dash / panels. Is this usual? Anything I can do?
Thanks

There’s definitely water in there somewhere. Quickest way to dry it out is to get a domestic dehumidifier in there. A couple of days and it’ll be bone dry in there.I bought a 2012 Carerra 991 a little while ago, and have noticed that when the temp drops at night I see condensation on the inside of the windows. As for how the water is getting in, there’s a number of well established leak paths….door membranes failed, sunroof drains blocked, AC condenser drain pipe displaced….a poke around after the next time it’s rained heavily should help narrow it down…
