I'm considering switching the 997 to a low mileage occasional use type of policy. Does anyone have any recommendations for companies that would be competitive for this please?

Thank you.

I would have thought any decent insurance broker will be able to find you a decent policy for this. I use A-Plan for what it's worth and always been happy.

I have a 992 on a low mileage policy (3,000 miles a year) through Admiral. It's about £25 a month. They seemed to be as concerned about where it is kept given it's not on the road much. My quote assumes storage in a highly secure professional car storage facility.

Lockton (underwritten by Chubb) would be another and they include a guaranteed value policy.

I use ClassicLine for the 997 and TVR both on limited mileage. Always found them competitive and helpful. Always good on renewal unlike a lot of insurance companies.

Directline have been OK by my two cars. The claims handling needs to be managed better but eventually got my Cayman fixed with no excess and not loss of ncb or increase in base premium.

How old are you? Once over 50 Saga are very competitive. I’m £200 for a 981 boxster S.
