Specialists around Huntingdon/ Peterborough
Discussion
Hi
Looking to get 995c4s serviced and a few other bits looked at which could probably be done at any garage but also want to get the borescoped to check for wear as sometimes on start up I get a big glob of smoke (not everytime and mostly after being left for a long time).
I know that Bartletts claim to be Porsche specialists but they also say they are BMW and Audi!
Twg in Peterborough spoke to them on the phone, didn't really feel it with them.
So does anyone have any recommendations for a trusted specialist around that area?

TWG in Peterborough always used to have a decent recommendation.
I have never used them myself, but have been there and they seemed decent people.
Spoke to TWG a while ago when I had the Cayenne, bloody minded and unhelpful came to mind, I didn't use them in the end although my Cayenne had something in the history that was done by TWG.I have never used them myself, but have been there and they seemed decent people.
I've been recommended this company but haven't used them them yet, based in Kimbolton.

Sorry a bit late, only just seen this.
I have used Martin at Pristine for work on my panameras, knows his stuff, easy to deal with and prices are fair.

He's worked on a number of my cars, Porsche and Bmw, and been good.
Thought Bartletts were just Bmw?
Maybe they've taken on a Porsche technician?
They're certainly good for Bmw as they were technicians at Murketts Bmw before it closed down.

Barletta were always bmw now they are advertising as porsche and vague specialists which to me dilutes the specialist bit!

For Mercs most of the trade around here use Stuart at Star Autos in Alconbury, he is very, very, good.
But of course being very, very, good means that he's quite booked up nowadays.
