Not much point to this thread because I like all 911s of all ages and all prices. I don't take much persuading.

Here they are, side by side.

My friends 4 day old Turbo S and my 3 yr old C2 outside work. Crayon Turbo S and Adventurine C2.

I love his new car. They look great together too.

However, the price differential between the two cars as they sit today is over £150k I would guess. I can do great things with £150k.

I love my stripper spec 992 C2 so much I think I am going to keep it. As a road car, I would argue a standard C2 is too quick anyway!

I hardly ever get the chance to give it full throttle. So what the heck an I going to do with another 250bhp!

Merry Christmas Porsche Lovers!

I genuinely prefer the C2 on the right.

There’s something about the purity and simplicity of a base 911 that is lost with increased size, complexity, weight, and even power.

Beautiful objects. Both in their different ways.

However you both need some parking lessons, or you’ll be giving pork owners a bad name. Oh, hang on…

My mate had a Turbo S for about two months. Sold it, for a profit, because it was just too fast.

Great pic made better by road salt and being dirty. Driven properly and no garage queen in sight.

Agree with that. Both cars look like they are being used and enjoyed.

Lovely.

We all understand the appeal of a C2, no need to go so heavy with the justifications wink

I’m loving my C2 . Well fast enough for normal road use.
There is definitely appeal in entry level 911 ownership , just a shame with a few extras they are now close to £100k !

I am going to have to shamelessly steal this expression.

I am thinking of a stripper Carrera T as it has the options I want as standard.

Both look great, thanks for sharing.

Love my 992, in fact I'm going to pop into the garage and say hello to it smile

I guess if my GTS was in that photo, then it would have to be in the middle.

Anyone know what the lovely low miles 992 turbo s got bid to on cc, last time I looked was 160k with hours to go, it’s now disappeared and not showing as sold so assume it failed to meet reserve!

I think it was unsold at £160k. Odd really as that must be roughly what the owner paid for it 2 years ago. You would think he would have been happy with 2 years nearly free motoring in a Turbo S.
