I am getting ready to retire and need to reduce my 5 car garage. Decided to sell my 997 but struggling a bit with pricing in the current market? Its a Lapis Blue C4S with a decent spec (sports exhaust etc) and a good history file. The market seems to have softened a bit, but cars are still being advertised with what seem like really inflated prices to me. No idea whether they are selling of course. I was thinking of pricing in the region of £27/28K. Does that sound sensible - I would value opinions please?

Probably should have added that! It's a manual coupe on 60k miles.

I don't think you are far off, mid to late 20's for a private sale.

Well done and sad news all at the same time.

Got any pics of this 997?

Mid-high 20's seems to be about right for a private sale. Just bought a C2S, 60k miles loads of paperwork and nice condition etc, for £30k from respected Indy dealer with a bit of in-house warranty. Take £2-4k off that for private, then add a bit back on for the '4' bit. Prices all over the place.

Many thanks. The car is in great condition, so I think I will go for £28k and see how it goes.

Thanks. Just deciding whether to hang on to it a bit longer in order to give it a last run down to Classic Le Mans.
