Would like a 991.1 GTS Manual - the perfect package that I can take to the Ring / Trackdays but also take young family to go buy an ice cream.

Has to be the n/a 3.8 and has to be manual (I know how good the PDK is, just not for me).

However, currently 0 for sale on PH and AT. Am I looking for hen’s teeth and should I compromise on either engine (991.2) or gearbox (PDK) or is it worth waiting longer?

Some guidance on how many should be around would be appreciated. howmanyleft.co.uk does not provide this detail.

When I couldn’t find what I was looking for I left my details with all the Porsche specialists. Might take a month or two but at least you can expect to be called ahead of any car making into the adverts. Sorry can’t help with the numbers but good luck with the search.

There were around 45 registered manuals according to the DVLA data. Rarer than the manual 997.2 GTS and 991.2 GTS.

That’s stunning! Tnx for sharing.
Interesting how this didn’t come up in my search results.

That’s a dream spec.
Unfortunately it is also a nightmare … because I can’t afford that! (I know you’re not supposed to say that on here).

Can someone pls put 20,000 miles on that and offer it again at reduced price?

7,000 miles in 7or 8 years, what a waste.

They look the dogs with a duck tail.

When you say ‘it has to ‘ this implies anything other than that will not satisfy ,don’t spend so much money on a compromise and wait .

I have one a GT silver - took me 6 months plus to find it - funny it was sat at the dealer for a while apparently - seemed nobody wanted a manual then.
now have put 20K miles plus on it - trips to Europe etc. great car and worth the search if you can find one -

Assuming you are looking for a 2WD manual then there are only around 30 of these in the UK

It took me a long time to find mine.. as good as the PDK box is, I really wanted a manual so was prepared to wait for the right one to come up

I was watching the UK market for about a year and only saw 4 come up for sale in that time, all sold within hours so when my spec came up I made sure I was the first to view it

The website howmanyleft.co.uk breaks it down into production years for manuals and PDK, also for 2WD and 4WD, it lists Targas separately, but doesn’t separate coupe / convertible for some reason

So the figures in the photo are for all Manual 2WD non-Targa cars registered for the 991.1 production run between 2014-2016

So the total registered was 48 and this includes coupes and convertibles

So assuming that around a third of those were convertibles then this leaves just 30 or so 2WD manual coupes

Amazing cars and definitely worth searching one out if you want the N/A manual experience

Good luck, I jumped to a .2 manual when I got the chance, the .1, I had a PDK, was proving to much of pipe dream.

Have you considered the .2?
I went 991.1 GTS4 (PDK) to 991.2 GT3 Touring (man) to 991.2 (man) - and, for regular road use, much preferred the latter.
The .2 provides quite a number of improvements, inc the 7-spd. But, much to my surprise, after 15 NA 911s, was how nice the new twin turbo was - sound (PSE), delivery, performance, economy …. Porsche rarely get it wrong.
