992 turbo s prices
Discussion
I just (reluctantly) sold my May 22 Turbo S via my dealer. I paid £193k new for it last year and it sold for £195k last week. Took 2 weeks to sell.
Most the £185k cars were basic spec and std colours. Anything with a good spec and the right colour seems to be doing very well. The prices rises mean that to spec my car now would be more than £210k, which is bonkers. I also think the incoming hybrid Turbo S might be nearer to £250k.

What colour spec was yours ? Most the £185k cars were basic spec and std colours. Anything with a good spec and the right colour seems to be doing very well. Been offered new turbo s couple
Gt silver with nice spec. But no axel lift. It’s a massive commitment and don’t want to get my fingers burnt money wise

Agate with just about every option I could fit on. I didn’t go for the Porsche clock, but other than that, it was fully loaded.
The full retail price should have been around £198ish, as there were two price increases during the time I was waiting for an allocation. However, my dealer, (who I have been with a very long time) were very reasonable and agreed to hold the price. To be fair I think the second price raise was honoured by Porsche themselves.
I hadn’t intended to sell it and so had specked it to keep for a long time. But having moved overseas just after it arrived (after waiting 18 months) and not having a place here I felt comfortable keeping it, I decided that if the price was right, I should sell it and buy another in 3 years time when I come home.
I have sold a few 911s via my dealer like this, we agreed an amount to return to me, which regardless of the selling price the dealer has honoured. All in all I am very happy with the cost to own for 11 months, (even if it spent far too much time in storage due to moving overseas).
Importantly I’d have another in a heartbeat. What a car, other than it being so civilised it’s almost too good and comfortable, the way it deploys its power is extremely addictive.
