So Porsche have scheduled their 75th anniversary event for 9:40pm CEST today:
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2023/company/porsc...

What do we think is coming to mark 75 years of Porsche sports cars?
New electric Boxster / Cayman platform?
911 ST?
911 RS?
Something that's been extremely well hidden (918 replacement)?

I heard they are going to reduce their prices, across the range, and spare part costs are going to be halved.

This would be awful lol, but I fear the same.
Hope for S/T at least or maybe a surprise new hypercar.

According to some of the people close to the Nurburgring, Porsche have broken the EV record set by the Tesla Plaid. So that means less than 7.25 ish I think?

Could be that.

Is that it,after 75 years ,fugly in and out.
Electric is not the future.
You would have thought they could come up with something special running on the eco fuel.

Disappointed that it wasn't something a little more exciting...I get the whole 'electric future' thing, but my take is that Porsche fans would have liked the ST revealed (judging by the comments on the live stream), or something a little more special for the 75th birthday celebration of a sports car, like a new RS perhaps.

Mission X is impressive no doubt, but not something most can (or do) aspire to. The Heritage cars a little more so I think.

I guess now we've had the Mission R (RSR/R/Cup Car/Clubsport replacement?) we've now got the road equivalent (GT2/GT3/GT4 replacement?).

End of a fabulous era for ICE cars. The music is preparing to stop, time to find the chair you want to be sat in...

Regardless of what might be coming, I was at the local OPC earlier and these three beauties seem as good a celebration of 75 years of Porsche as any other - can what's coming ever be matched by what's gone before?

I was expecting 992.2… somewhat disappointed with the brown thing.
