Now that these seem to be looking more reasonable financially I would be grateful for some feedback on living with one as a daily/semi-daily.

Many get through owners rapidly-is this because there are plenty of people who just want to tick the box and move on (and were able to do so when values were very strong), or is it because many find them simply too fast/not enough fun on UK roads?

Would welcome some views from owners and also if the front lift is a definite requirement as quite a few seem to do without?

Currently in 992 base model so looking to go from one end of the range to the other.....

All views/info welcome.

Do not need lift. You can buy with your eyes closed great cars and mind bendingly fast.

Epic cars all things considered. Compared to a base/S 992:
- engine a little less fizzy and the limiter is set 500rpm earlier
- but monstrous torque about 2500rpm, obvs.
- steering nicer than base 992. A little weightier, perhaps because of the larger tyres.
- you get RWS and PDCC which you may or may not have on your existing 992.
- can feel a bit heavy in certain conditions - it’s a full 150kg more after all.
- the brakes have epic power but can feel a little soft at the top of the travel. I think this comes from the 10-piston calipers as all the 6-pot ones i’ve used feel similar.

I've just gone from a 992 C4S to a 992 Turbo S cab, and I love it. I daily it, driven gently it is like a slumbering beast, but get your foot down and it becomes an angry beast. In gear acceleration and off the line is unbelievably quick, it never seems to lack power anywhere. Sounds better than my old one did, and is just a really nice place to be. I love it, wont be getting rid for a long while.
