What are thoughts on this 997.2 turbo? My friend is interested in it but was thinking of putting in a bit extra and go for a 991 turbo?

Both nice all weather 911s but 991 turbo s on a different planet in terms of tech etc. Really the 991 is a different class of car as a dd tbh there was a real step up in quality especially on the gen 2 991. We run both and whilst I prefer my 997 myself if I had the choice today I'd defo go 991.2 as it has Apple Car Play, better PDK and Adaptive Cruise Control if you spec it like we did.

Thank you. In terms of the price for that car does that look ok?
Ps used to get loads of posters on this sub forum but seems very quiet nowadays which is a shame - I used to be an avid reader and there were posters like jackal, slippy diff, Wookiee etc etc.

I also looked a bit at those but then the rare manual 997.2 Turbo, very rare, I looked at those because the GT2 (997.1) are stil a bit expensive and the 997.2 has I think some nicer parts.https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/15872056
But a good one and low mileage like say a GT2 mostly have, are almost in the same price range (manual 997.2 Turbo) not far apart from the GT2 997.1
choices choices if you want to buy one, not that I do soon, I want or a powerful classic (no road tax ) since I only drive around 800 km a year... or, I choose a Donkervoort GTO-RS/40/JD-70/Individual -series. those are lightweight so even if you drive not much, the roadtax is not that high and those are plenty fast enough.
Price seems okay ish for the slightly higher mileage. They do start going wrong at higher mileage I've had some whopping bills at 106,000 miles. I'd want a 12 month bumper to bumper no quibble warranty on one of these so I'd personally only buy one from recognised indies like JZM, 911 Virgin, Paragon Porsche, 9e etc.
