Hi all,

I've not posted a great deal on this forum, occasionally asking for advice and opinions over the last few months so thank you to those who have helped me along the way.

I won't go into any long history but suffice to say I purchased my first Porsche on the 12/12 from OPC Teesside. After failing to purchase my next house this year (two attempts, zero wins!) I decided to put the situation on its head, decrease house budget and go full on crazy with the car allowance (small house:cool car ratio works).

Watching the market and maybe realising that these particular cars weren't necessarily going to 'crash' a'la Turbo S's et al I just swallowed a big ol brave pill and took the plunge. It still feels incredibly surreal and I consider myself very fortunate to be able to purchase this car. My car history is not extensive (compared to many others) but I am very particular about what appeals to me.

Anyway, here's my crazy moment....recent life events meant sometimes you have to live your dreams as we just don't know what is ahead.

I look forward to meeting some of you in the future.

Oh and it's good to see Adrian and I are in the same 'first Porsche club!'.

Amazing car, congrats and enjoy. I love my ‘standard’ GT3, and can’t wait until the next time I drive it. That is some colour and stands out even more than mine which is Miami blue. Man maths ftw!

Great choice and remember - you can’t drive a house at the Nurburgring, but you can live in your car biggrin

I can't imagine what that must be like... Oh wait! biggrin Thanks for the name check!

Fantastic car (obviously). A near identical spec to mine other than the black door handles and white dials. Very keen to hear how you get on with it. Were you prepared for the noises when pulling away from cold? I'd read about it but it still threw me a little, co-incidentally the currently stuck rear calliper on my Mini makes a very similar sound biggrin

Oh, and if you work out how to clean the inside of the rear window let me know! A small child would work I think but I don't have regular access to one of those...
