I am having my 992 GT3 RS fully PPF'd and I want to remove the decals, have the PPF applied and then reapply new decals. They are in Pyro Red which is both metallic and matte. Has anyone been able to source new decals without going OEM? I suspect the OEM will be circa £800 a set and if I can get them for less then I would like to do so.

Any knowledge would be welcome. Thank you.

May I ask why you want to remove the original decals and then re-apply them once ppf is installed?

Is it not better to protect them having ppf applied on top of the so they’re protected? I know Topaz is used to do so.

Applying PPF on top of the decals will turn them from matte to glossy. The PPF also creates a tiny line of air around the decals and they don't look right.

Surprised by Topaz then as usually they know what they’re doing.
