Random point HDK is originally a Rochdale registration plate which unfortunately is was where I was born some few years ago.
My late father had a rather splendid very powerful motorcycle with an HDK registration on which he went to the high Alps with my mother as pillion for their honeymoon.
Sorry for this rather useless post I appreciate it in no way helps the OP.

Geez that did some mileage between 21 and 22

I would be inclined to read through the Emira threads regarding the dealer.
I had a similar aged 2018 991.2 Carrera T manual from new in March 2018. Similar spec too with rear seats and T pack but without Bose camera and headlamp upgrade.
I specified lightweight glass some cars came without it. Also a number of later 2018 cars did not have DAB which was retrofitted by some OPCs.
The T is a good package, reasonable engine but the manual gearbox is not one of Porsches best being vague in the upper ratio action. High top gear gives great cruising economy.
The 991.2 T wasn't particularly popular new and many OPCs struggled shifting their allocations with quite a few new ones hanging around before they sold some at discounts. I sold mine at 12 months old just under list around £85k with 1500 miles.
Lower spec manuals as long as they have T pack and rear seats appear to be better sellers than higher spec
PDKs. There are only acvery limited number of UK cars with buckets which deleted T pack (afaik) and rear seats.
I'd want a Porsche warranty on that car. The partial non OPC history is against it affecting the value and may impact the warranty situation.
Also it is one of the highest mileage Carrera Ts in the UK
and looks relatively expensive imo.

If you know the VIN I can look at the Porsche system and see if it bring up any nasties.
Looking at the photos, it's not been prepped very well. Scratches below the rear number plate, gear knob need replacing and shiny leather on the seats and steering wheel. Any good detailer would get rid of that pretty easily but I'd want at least £1500 off the price to get a full paint correction done and I'd want a Porsche warranty on it. Not an issue if it's been serviced at an OPC but if done outside the dealer network it'll cost you the price of the last service again.

I have had dealings with them too. I would not rule out a car they were selling, but I would be taking an *extremely* close look at it and not taking anything I was told at face value.
An enormous facility they have, though, with some interesting cars that are, as far as I could establish, just stored there.

I've got a 997.2 and I'd got myself into the "need to change" phase, landed on the 991 as the generation i wanted and thought the 7MT "T" was the "enthusiasts" choice....i guess I'm trying to replace my old manual C2 964 which i foolishly sold several years ago after 14 years of ownership.
Perhaps a nice 991.1 S or even GTS, with PDK is a better bet than 7MT .2T, thoughts from previous owners much appreciated. If I can't find a nice example i dont mind keeping my 997.2.

Thanks all for the replies. yeah the mixed history and high miles especially in one year were a concern. I wasn't at all impressed with the dealer but won't go into to it on here as i was only enquiring, so it was ore about their "model" and thats clearly upto them how they choose to deal with potential customers. I was kind of hoping the last owner would come on saying although it had been well used it had been cherished ! Plenty of others to choose from.

Rick, I will post something on the Porstmouth local Porsche WhatsApp group for you to see if it was owned by one of our guys.I've got a 997.2 and I'd got myself into the "need to change" phase, landed on the 991 as the generation i wanted and thought the 7MT "T" was the "enthusiasts" choice....i guess I'm trying to replace my old manual C2 964 which i foolishly sold several years ago after 14 years of ownership.

I had three 991s - a 991.1 C4GTS (PDK), a 991 GT3 Touring (Man) and a base 991.2 (Man) - in that order.
My favourite, for regular use and the one that did the most enjoyable miles, was actually the ‘base’ model - very similar to the ‘T’.
The ‘T’ or ‘base’ is a worthwhile upgrade from the 997, IMO - narrow body, still quite light, later 7-spd manual, but a bit more grown up.
Finding a nice manual to your spec and colour might take a bit of time though, but worth the effort.
Thanks, did you have PSE and Chrono in your .2 Manual? On AT theres just one of these for sale, but with bordeaux red interior, which I'm not sure i could live with, but otherwise its a nice spec with a full Porsche history and warranty until October 25. I bought a low mileage 991.1 C4S in August - my first Porsche and, as such, I can't really offer any intelligent comments in respect of the differences between the models. Although I've had some reasonably grown up sports cars over the years.I chose this particular model because I didn't want a turbo, I also wanted the larger capacity (3.8). My experience so far is that it is a great GT car, quite benign in normal driving - the PDK box is superb and seems to suit my driving. When pressing on, I use the paddles as I've never liked that feeling that you're hanging on to gears forever. PDK is lightening quick and, counterintuitively, not an auto but a manual. It also feels quite smart - automatically changing down (for example) when going downhill. As I say, I really like it. I have yet to use Sports + which, I am told, is a bit mental.
The interior is great, the leather is well done and there's nothing superfluous - it all works with no quirks. The car feels very evolved inside and out. Mine is some sort of 50th Year edition - but not THAT edition. But it has some nice little extras. It also looks quite rude from the back with fat tyres and wheel arches.
I've only driven it flat out in a couple of gears once (on a twisty road) and it was impressive, very solid. MPG going across France was very impressive if driven gently - but if you give it the beans, that changes.
The 991.1 seems, to me at least, to be the sweet spot - it's not a hard racer, just a very competent and comfortable sports car. Perfect for what I need it for which is the long continental cruise.
