Hi all,

I am going through a point in my life which is at odds to my Porsche ambitions...an expanding family! Currently I'm in a Carmine Red 981 GT4 which I love arguably more than a child and would keep forever, but the inevitable compromise is moving to something with 4 seats. The closest would be a 991.1 GTS Manual, so if any of you lucky owners on here (know there are a few) would be convinced into parting with theirs over the next ~6-12 months, please DM me! Mileage isn't an issue for me and I'm fairly relaxed on colours and spec, although it obviously cannot have rear seat delete and I'd like one with a ducktail. I do draw the line at overpriced brown ones though (check Lakeside Classics' website if you don't know what I'm referring to)...

Any help to keep this man's Porsche dream alive is welcome - thank you in advance!

Youforreal.

Good luck with that one, I personally believe they will become more sought after than the 997.

Have you space for a car more fit for family purpose?
As whilst the 911 does have that space in the rear, it's a ballache, and it fully compromises the purpose of the car imo.
It's still cramped, it's a pita to arrange them and their seats and seatbelts
food, mess and scuffs aplenty
When the apples of your eye are sat back there, you won't be going near the accelerator for fear of unapproving looks from them and/or your partner, plus potential travel sickness....
On those glorious sunny days when you can get out in it for a solo or adult hoon.... it'll be less special and smell of chocolate and crisps. hehe

Keep the GT4 get a re-cycled efficient swiss army knife car to sit next to it.... if possible.

Couldn’t disagree more.

My son loves sitting in the back, no issues with the Porsche Isofix child seat. Getting in and out is not an issue at all.
He loves it when we go fast or slow.

Drove it to the south of France for a family holiday and he loved every minute of it.

Cars are there to make memories and driving it by yourself at 6am on a Saturday morning because it’s just for you is really quite sad.

Yeah I agree with you, given the added extra stuff you've construed from my post.... that I didn't put...

Aside from that, I'm very happy you have those family memories, that mean a lot to you, I have some similar, as a family , as a couple and on my own.
I wouldn't call your experiences sad at all, as that would make me somewhat conceited.
