Hi,
Any help or suggestions please.
I’ve just purchased a 992 C4S without PSE.
It was the exact spec I wanted and I thought I could sort the exhaust as a separate matter as even with PSE I know a lot of people would upgrade anyway.
It’s got the quad exhaust pipes and if possible I don’t want to have to change the rear diffuser/valance.
I don’t really mind if it’s valved (with separate (Bluetooth) controller) or not.
I know exhaust sounds are subjective; I’m not after the loudest system, just increased sound with a good note/tone.
Unfortunately I’m coming from a secondary de-cat Aston V12 Vanquish, so most things will sound fairly tame 😃, and my wife says it’s too loud 🤣. It can never be too loud can it?
Anyway, any help or suggestions on what to do or who to go and talk to would be appreciated.
I have looked around on the web, but you end up going down many rabbit holes over many hours with no better knowledge at the end of it?!

Bookmarked

I’ve just bought a very well specced 992.1 C2S. One of the only things it’s missing (for me at least) was PSE. I almost got the dealer to do the upgrade before I collected it but actually a week in, it’s not proving to be an issue for me.

It definitely misses some pops and burbles on the overrun but cold start is every bit as impressive as I’d hoped and both tickling it along as well as WOT creates a lovely noise. So far very impressed with the standard quads.

That said, keen to see the recommendations flood in.

I have a C4S without PSE - it sounds pretty fruity just as it is. It has sports exhaust tips, I am not sure if this has made a difference.

The 'S' cars have an exhaust valve as standard, which opens at 3,500rpm.
