Porsche Servicing East London/Essex and Porsche Owners Club
Discussion
Hello,
Question 1:
Recently joined the 996 ownership club...well, bought one for Mrs CS as she's had enough of my Subaru FSTI....who do owners use for servicing in East London/Essex? There are some jobs i want done which are beyond my driveway skills.
Question 2:
Do the benefits etc of Porsche Club GB warrant the £75 membership fee?
Thanks
CS

There are quite a range of Porsche specialists in Essex, your approx whereabouts might help narrow it down.
https://www.danieljamesperformancecars.uk/ these guys are good, they know Porsches well and reasonably priced. The boss does Porsche engine rebuilds using a local machine shop.
https://essexporschespecialist.co.uk/, not used this chap, he's an ex Porsche tech.
https://www.porschespecialistservices.co.uk/, I don't rate these guys but mates use them and like them.
http://adhporsche.co.uk/ not used them.
Q2
I've never found it makes sense from financial perspective as anywhere offering a PCGB discount is already overpriced, with the on exception being Porsche Tonbridge who recently beat Porsche East London and then offered a PCGB discount on top making them a lot cheaper. The PCGB discount on the major service saved me circa £225.
I think it's worth if you want to do some of their track days, trips and social stuff.
