911 Model evolution, seems the 99X is coming up for overdue

I has never realised model evolution timings had slowed over the years, 993 only 4 years or so, 964 only 5.

2027 looks likely ? I wonder how far along the new model is, perhaps it was or is an electric monstrosity and the new CEO will save us from too much of that

Manufacturers' model cycles these days are even to eight years with a mid-term refresh/facelift. Porsche is follwing the industry norm.

But you're right, the 964 and 993 had relatively short lives.
