991 C4S tyre life question
Discussion
I would say check before the 7K, I would measure the inner + outer edges and the middle and then do it again after a couple of thousand miles.
I've just replaced my two three year old rears on 991.2 GTS and the inside of one tyre was worn down to the cords. The other rear was significantly more worn on the inside compared to the middle and outer edge. No idea how many miles it had done on those tyres as I bought the car in Aug 25.
I had a geo carried out on the car at the cost of £200 to ensure it was setup propertly too.

It s probably worth noting that a .2 will have lots more torque than a .1
Yep, I think it's 44lb-ft more than my C4S thanks to Mr Turbo. Even so, the advice to check tyres a bit earlier than I had originally thought is very helpful.Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
