Slix 991 Turbo / GT2
Discussion
I’ve been looking with interest at the build that Chris Slix is doing on his channel. I saw that he had gone for the elephant racing front LCAs but what about the rear? Does the real GT2 RS not have fully ball jointed rear suspension?
I’m looking to get back into a turbo, this year (looking for grey, silver, red or blue) 991.2TS coupe… so I’m very interested in what people do build a really sharp and responsive car.
My last turbo was a 996 turbo which was upgraded to close to GT2 spec… I thought I’d go again !

You're right, the real GT2 RS does have full ball joints. Slix likely only did the front Elephant Racing arms because that's where you feel the biggest steering improvement. The 991.2 Turbo S rear is already good from the factory, so most guys stop at the front to avoid the extra noise and harshness from doing the rear. If you want to match the GT2 exactly, you can, but for a street car the front arms make the biggest difference.
