992.2 Carerra Techart tuning kit
Discussion
I’m now about 500m into the new upgrade. What a difference. I run a 992.2 T, a nice car with an adequate amount of power for UK roads. You don’t really need more, as many of the reviews suggested. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look for more.
The Techart kit is fab. There’s noticeably more torque through the rev range but the power is super noticeable. 111bhp more and it really builds as the revs rise. The last 1500rpm really fling you down the road, adding a massive amount of excitement. Defo recommend.

All good questions.
Tech 9 did the work, in Hale. Phil, who runs the place, is a former racer and really knows his Porsches. All done in about 4 hours.
Cost c. £4k. No ecu work, undetectable when in for routine service. If major work needed, then you could always have removed. Otherwise, yes, would affect warranty.
Insurer didn’t mind either, just noted in my policy.
No difference in lag, economy etc. just loads more power. 505bhp rear drive manual, with better road manners than my GT3. Winner.
