Hi everyone after a little help please. I traded my 996 4s of 12 years ownership last year for a 997.1 2s with factory aero. The front lower chin spoiler is killing me as it’s that low, it now needs replacing and the bumper is wanting some TLC also. Is there an option for a bottom lip that’s not so low and doesn’t catch on any road imperfections please 🙏

I had a a yellow 997.1 Carrera S with the aerokit a few years back - the solution is to buy the black plastic part and then not not bother spraying it!

Also - if you only clip it on, then if you encounter an obstacle - a couple of hard tugs and it's come off

Thanks for the advice. I am not sure if there is an option to purchase something that is not so rigid. A flexible bottom lip would be way more suitable…

Swap the brittle factory lip for a flexible polyurethane GT3-style lip. It scrapes but doesn't shatter.
Only way to get real clearance is a standard Carrera bumper swap. Otherwise, just learn to hit everything at an angle.

😂 ok thanks. Are there two GT3 lip spoilers a standard and a motorsport one?
