Hi Folks.

As per the title, has anyone taken delivery of a 992.2 Turbo S yet?

I can only assume if it is the case, and 992.1 Turbo was previously owned.

Can I ask on initial comparison views and opinions?

Thanks in advance.

The Turbo always seems to be regarded as the most boring of the 991 and 992 ranges. 5 minute wonders. People are going to take such a depreciation hit on these.

Intercooler said the 992.2 Turbo S was impressive at the launch (Spain ?), but was disappointing and frustrating on UK roads.
I think they went to Scotland and back iirc.

They said the 992.2 T would be more rewarding and more enjoyable in the UK.

I can see why people might buy into that, but I respectfully disagree.

I've had 992 GTS,992 T and currently have a 992.1 turbo S; Whilst good, accomplished cars, the GTS and T are absolutely neither more rewarding or enjoyable as the Turbo S.

I had a 675LT spider at the same time as all of them, but the Turbo S was the car that made the decision to sell it as it did everything just slightly better without any worries.

Im not sure what could be frustrating with 700+ bhp, all wheel drive and all wheel steering; the 992.1 Turbo S is outrageous to drive, and the .2 is supposed to be a vast improvement....im looking forward to getting my hands on one.

They are a bit toppy on rrp now, but so is everything...if '23 Turbo S are hovering around the £155k mark, I suppose its just the way it is all over.

More exciting / explosive: Turbo S
More engaging / satisfying: Carrera T
More usable fun at sane speeds: Carrera T
More special occasion / supercar feel: Turbo S

If your measure is engagement rather than performance, the 992 T is probably the better driver’s car. The Turbo S has to be a 5 minute wonder - we see it every time, the market gets flooded straight away soon as owners have had their 5 mins of fun with it.
