992.1 (4 years) 2nd service

I have a base 992.1 which is due for its second service. I have extended warranty so would like to stay with OPC. My nearest OPC has quoted £2450, which seems excessive to me but maybe that’s the normal rate. Would you share your experience. Thanks

Hands up anyone who's received an OPC quote they felt was not excessive !

You either ring around other OPC's and get a cheaper like for like quote and batter your local OPC with it, or , better still go to a more qualified local indie.

There are various OPCs that give discount to PCGB members.

Price is in the ballpark of a first quotation, but you should be able to beat if you shop around and have flexibility to travel. See post in the linked thread by @FredMarsBar. A very broad generalisation is PRG and Sytner OPC less able to discount, so best to try some of the smaller ones, like Lovetts or Bowker depending on your location.

I was looking recently for mine (now sold) and was getting quotes from Sheffield and Leeds for about £2150. None of them were interested in haggling.

My four year service was last April, I am in south Bucks. My suggestion is to email a couple of other OPC, good suggestion of who above. My local OPC wanted £2500 for the four year service on my 992. I reached out to a couple of others and for the sake of a hours drive, I saved £700. Got a new Taycan for a couple of days too and had a wander around the Ferrari dealership opposite.

Mine was £1750 a year ago and that included £100 for a tube of tyre sealant.

I have now obtained 4 x quotes ranging from £2125, £2275,£2450 and £2780. All from OPCs in the Northwest of England for the same job. Will go with the cheapest. A bit confusing to see the prize difference though.
