3 w@n^%rs and a wide swap!!!

Wife swap in title, not wide swap!!! FFS
So, after much fettling, this week I've been using the Boxster for the last 3 days.
The score so far is 3 yells of "Porsche w
ker" and one fella in traffic hollering at me to ask if he could swap cars... at his wife's behest. They were lovely , both sat there with the kids in the back of their car giving the thumbs up and laughing away.
I don't remember my brand new, yellow one back in 2001 ever getting this much attention in the 2 years I had it.
Is it the silver colour, or are the "Porsche w
ker" shouters just more prevalent in the last 10 years or so?
I just gave them a cheery wave and carried on.
Thinking about it... maybe the name calling is nothing much to do with the car, but everything to do with me just looking like a w
ker!

Just the 2001 S that i bought last November. I had one back in the day and fancied another as a 'toy' seeing as they're now so cheap.
It's bright silver, now with a blue hood, and 911 18" alloys of some description.
The OH didn't hear the hollering on the way home last night, she was trying not to be sick as I had some 'fun' around a few roundabouts, but reckons she'd have shouted back 'Walk w
kers!' if she'd heard them.
I'm keeping that for the next time! Nothing like a bit of The Inbetweeners humour to diffuse things!
