Hi All,

My father has had old Rolls and Bentleys for years and found a local mechanic who used to work in a Rolls dealership to service and sort his cars as homers. The guy had his garage at home kitted up and would work on his customers cars when he could.

I'm needing some fairly hefty work done on my Boxster, the local specialist garage has a 4 week waiting list just to get it booked in, so I wondered if anyone knew of a 'Porsche-man' that might want to do it on a less formal basis.

Berkshire / Reading area. Any recommendations? Or am I just being stupid? smile

Hillcrest in Nettlebed could be worth a try,
good old fashioned mechanics with an appropriately messy yard.
