Its a gen 1 987

Gen 2 has the round internal lights inside the headlight.

Gen 1. It also appears to have a beam deflector stuck to it. You shouldn't need that, there's a switch on the back of the unit that centralises the dipped headlamp so it doesn't dazzle when driving on the wrong side of the road.
