After over a year of searching and procrastinating since I sold my TVR I've found myself a boxster S.
Really pleased with it so far and even SWMBO likes the colour!
Anybody know what the colour is called? I'm told its Zanzibar orange but happy to be put right on that one. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Nice, Zanzibar red actually. Which was the launch colour for the GT3, I was with a Zanzibar GT3 all week through the alps recently, it's a great colour in the flesh.

I don't think I've seen it on a Boxster before.

Bit hard to tell from the pic, but if ZR, then rather rare on a Boxster so well done!

Go to the Owner manual and look for the build sticker with all options, then unpick them on this site

Zanzibar is a wonderful colour. The first time I saw it was on Boxster on a dull, wet, overcast day. It looked awful, just a very dull brownish colour.

But it's absolutely stunning on a bright day !

Congratulations on finding a Boxster in a such a rare and eye catching colour.

Definitely Zanzibar Red. I had the colour on a 3.2 S back in 2000. I paid £3K extra for the colour as "colour to sample" and three months later it became a standard colour at about £650. Oh well !!! It is a lovely colour though. Good luck with the car.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I've not seen one in that shade before and I've been "lurking" for about a year, checking eBay and the usual suspects regularly.

What is the general consensus on the wheel colour?
Would they look better in silver or maybe anthracite maybe. I don't have access to Photoshop else I would "shop" em and see......

Satin Platinum looks very good, but may be too 'modern'
