Passenger mirror not dropping when selecting reverse gear

Minor problem but annoying.

Menu settings all correct but when engaging reverse gear the passenger mirror does not move downwards, it used to but no more. Reverse lights are coming on so I thought that the switch within the gearbox would mean that the electronics knows I am in reverse gear.

Just wondered if anyone else has had the same problem and any quick fix without having to take it back to the OPC?.

As you don't mention this I am guessing you moved the mirror switch to the center or driver instead of passenger position.

Do you have memory seats?

Again, check mirror switch, must be in passenger position

I had the same issue, just toggle setting off/on again and it works again - it's just a computer.

Looked at all options above, car does have memory seats, tried resetting(again) but still no good, switch is pointing at passenger mirror.

Any ideas????

when the car is in reverse, manually dip the mirror to desired setting.

car may be thinking that current setting (no dipping) is desired setting.

check all setting as mentioned, otherwise its a 2 second job on PIWIS.
