1998 Boxster Sat Nav

Hi there, I have just bought a 1998 Porsche Boxster and obviously the Sat Nav disc is a little dated, can you get updates that still work with the older system?
Lots of roads around Cheshire and North Wales are newer than 1998 haha

Any help would be much appreciated

Think they only went to around '04 for the old pcm1 system. To be honest, it's crap, no postcode look up etc, I ditched mine and put an appradio in.

I am thinking of going that route myself. I have got the slightly more modern PCM2.1 in my 987, and have upgraded it with a Dension so it works with iPod and iPhone, but it feels old fashioned and I can only imagine how bad the PCM 1 must be.

When I looked before, nothing looked that good, but the appradio seems to really nail it. How do you find it?
