Hi all

No doubt asked before but can't find anything on mobile search - one of my std bulbs has gone on the front fog lights on my gen 1 cayman has gone and i was hoping to replace with LED bulbs or something that looks similar to the Bi-xenon lights - IMHO the originals look a bit poor in comparison.

Any recommendation on which replacement bulbs to get - don't won't to risk any melting of the units given the cost or replacement or any errors.

Cheers

I'm just a little curious. We get very little fog in the UK and bulbs normally have 2000+ hours running time. How has it blown? Additionally, as fogs should only be used when visibility is below 100m what does it matter what they look like? Nobody else should ever actually see them close enough to tell what sort of bulb you have.

maybe he means his side lights as there are 2 bulbs in that light

I did it, looks great. the side light then matched my xenons
and if it his his fog bulb why does it matter what HE wants to do to his car ?

Don't ask me the bulbs though this was back in 2007

Correct - i did mean the sidelights - my mistake - and I have now found the appropriate bulb upgrade.

I fitted those so it would match the xenons but found they only lasted about 6 months so went back to standard.

Hi there,

I'm tempted to go for the same look - get some nice bright lights for the side lights, as I think it looks a lot smarter when driving to have the side lights on.

Can you tell me how they're looking? How easy are they to buy/fit?

Thanks

You could try some error free CREE h6w LED ones. I have these as sidelights alongside the litronics and the light is similarly clear crisp and white.
