Cayman 981 2.7 standard headlights.....bulb failure alert?
Discussion
The last night, I noticed my dipped main beam was no longer working on both head lights. I checked and saw a fuse had blown.
No warning message came up on my display at all - I am sure I used to get a notice on my 987's?
Took it in to my OPC today who looked at it (for 2 hours) and they said it was simply the bulbs had gone and they replaced them under warranty!!
All seemed a bit odd....didn't think bulbs would be covered under the Porsche warranty?

This may or may not be of any help, but I've had a couple of rear bulbs fail on my 987 and a warning was given each time.
Thank you, Trev....yes, I always had warning when bulbs went on my 987's....this was weird...but I couldn't get any sense out of the chap at my OPC.....but to be honest, after sitting there for 2 hours waiting, I just wanted to get on with my day!Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
