I'm pretty satisfied with my 2.7 Gen1 Cayman, but I'm wondering what mods or tweaks you guys have done.

So far my only mods are better wiper blades, and better light bulbs :-P

I'm quite happy with what I've got, I certainly don't find it lacking engine-wise. Friendly bunch in here today

What sort of thing are you looking for? Cosmetic? More power? More noise? Handling? Interior/stereo? Or rather than more of something maybe you want less eg weight? There isn't much that hasn't already been done.

Sky's the limit, what do you want to improve and how much do you want to spend!

clearly not if you want to mod it !

never mod a bottom of the range car, just buy the next model up, it's a win win for you, A better buy and better resale over modding, it was sound advice.

If you just want it to drive nicer , adjust the top mounts and get more camber so it does not understeer like a boat.

Is this a recommendation based on experience or is this more a nice wishlist?

Mod 1 - driver tuition on track (you can take use the new skills on the road too and take that mod with you when changing car)
Mod 2 - Michelin Supersports
Mod 3 - A finely tuned alignment with a bit more front neg camber

Ive had some stuff done to my cayman s recently

1. valvetronic exhaust system, i have key fob to open or close valves in the system, this one mod has transformed the engine sound into something incredible, best mod ive ever done to a car
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWXW5vv-WdU - sounds like that now, but slightly better, more scream and bark you could say
2. IPD plenum and gt3 throttle body - improved airflow, you can now hear more air induction noises and the butt dyno says more torque lower down, faster
3. remap coming soon
4. mich super sport tyres
5. lower temp thermostat
6. millers nanodrive oil
