Yes Yes Yes, I know this is probably like a broken record here.... But Wow! Frickin Love it! Gert is a really nice guy, spent the weekend in Brussels at the mother in laws, then went back via his place yesterday...... Couldn't help myself but get the Cayman R black tips as well... ah well, can't take the cash with you!

Came back via Gent.... Underground carpark.... teehee!

Although on the way back from Dover in the lashing rain last night, fighting tiredness... Headlights on a Cayman are st aren't they? Feckin Tea Lights!

Mine goes over there in 5 weeks,
So it's worth it then?

Absolutely, it's surely one of the best value exhausts you can get.

Have to agree, sounds fantastic and it's a bargain when compared to other options. The standard exhaust is way too quiet.

Seriously tempted to get this done to my 987 Cayman. Anyone in or around Edinburgh who's had this done to a 987 Cayman or Boxster and wouldn't mind letting me hear theirs?

I went to Belgium to have the GT exhaust fitted to my Boxster S soon after buying it 3 years ago.
I chose it after reading and listening to reviews of other owners.
I absolutely love the noise it makes !!

I'm lucky enough to have my order in for a new Spyder, but am considering keeping my 05 BS as well as I just love the noise it makes so much !!

I had the Carnewals on my Gen 1 Cayman S manual and it sounded really good.

Just (2 days go) had the gt one fitted on my Cayman S PDK.
It sounds quieter on the Gen 2 car, maybe its the different engine or maybe its the smoother gearchange or maybe a bit of both.
It also has a sort of dry rasy note, which is very Porsche like IMHO.

Its pretty good in sports mode though and as my car is an everyday driver, I suppose it is better that its quieter than too loud.

As for cost, yes very reasonable, fitting cost me £250-00 which was not cheap for a simple job but I didnt want to risk a bad job on my pride and joy.

I also love the original look.

Hello Dan,
Yes I saw that too but sadly its for gen 1 can not gen 2
If it's in sound condition its not a bad way of doing things, especially given the original exhaust can be retained.

Can confirm how good this exhaust is. Have one fitted to my '07 Cayman and it has really transformed it.

Unfortunately, I may be part-exchanging the car shortly, so will probably return the car to standard. I'm based in the Midlands, so if anyone would like to exchange/do a deal, drop me a message.

2.7. But my understanding is they're the same exhaust?
